Everything HR does, in one place
Sahl covers the whole month of HR in a Saudi or UAE company, from the first request to the payroll and the government's tasks. Every part has its own switch, so you turn on only what you use.
Requests and approvals
Your people ask from their phones, and each request finds its way to the right person.
- Leave of every kind, short permissions, letters, advances, expenses, business trips, remote work, shift changes, updating one's details, resignation and training.
- Your own kinds of request, with the questions you choose.
- Approval paths you draw: for the whole company, a department, a branch or chosen people. The most specific path wins.
- A manager who is away hands their approvals to someone else for the days they choose.
- Each request shows where it is, who has it and since when, and reminds whoever it waits on.
- HR approves, declines or moves many requests together.
Leave and balances
Balances that renew by themselves, the way your policy says.
- Annual leave given every year, with a personal entitlement where someone has one.
- Carrying days over, paying them out and adjusting a balance, each with its reason.
- Before sending, the person sees the days, the balance left and who else on the team is away.
- Company holidays and rest days, with the Hijri date shown beside the Gregorian.
Attendance and shifts
Check in from the phone or from your devices, and a month ready for payroll.
- Check in and out from the phone, inside the work locations you set as a point and a radius.
- A location an app makes up is found and refused.
- Fingerprint and face devices send their punches to Sahl.
- Shifts, with a Ramadan shift for each company, and remote work under its own policy.
- Late arrival, early leaving and overtime by your attendance policy, reviewed by HR before the payroll month.
Payroll and end of service
The month's pay with its Saudi details, and every payment recorded.
- The payroll month with allowances, overtime, bonuses and deductions, and GOSI's shares.
- The bank wage file for Mudad, and payslips on every phone.
- A change of pay from a later day, applied on its day.
- Advances and expenses paid with a payment voucher, and repayments taken from pay.
- End of service calculated by Saudi labour law, and the final settlement paid and signed.
- The approved month sent as one journal entry to Odoo, Qoyod, Daftra, Wafeq or Zoho Books.
People and their papers
Every employee's file complete, and nothing ends without a reminder.
- ID, iqama, passport, contract and other documents with their dates, and a reminder before each ends.
- A document's details read from its picture, so HR does not type them.
- Salary, employment and other letters in Arabic and English, each verified by a QR code, and the Chamber of Commerce's attestation on request.
- Each person's signature on the letters and forms that need it.
- Custody and company vehicles with their traffic fines, company housing and medical insurance with dependants.
- Violations and penalties by the company's schedule, with the employee's statement first.
- The organisation chart, and people brought in from any Excel or CSV file.
From hiring to leaving
The whole journey of an employee, in the same place as everything else.
- Jobs, candidates, interviews, assessments by link and offers, then the new employee's first days.
- Performance reviews in rounds, with the manager's and the employee's views.
- Training courses with attendance and certificates, and the year's plan with a budget for each department.
- Leaving: handing back custody, clearance and the final settlement.
The government and the law
The month's government tasks in order, and the labour law built in.
- The month's tasks on GOSI, Mudad, Qiwa and Muqeem, with a guide for every step.
- Your estimated Nitaqat band and the Saudization of each job.
- Leave, end of service and GOSI by Saudi rules, and a pack for UAE mainland companies.
For HR and management
See what needs doing today, and read any report in a minute.
- An overview of what is waiting on HR today, and a dashboard of indicators.
- A reports centre: headcount, joiners and leavers, attendance, leave, pay against last month, costs by department, end of service owed and more, in Excel or on paper.
- One search box that finds people, requests and letters, and the page a few words describe.
- Commands in your own words: write what you want done, check the card, confirm.
- An HR team with roles, each limited to the branches or departments it looks after if you choose.
- A group of companies, each with its own people, managed from one place.
On every phone
An Android app for employees and managers, and Sahl in the browser on any other phone.
- The balance, new requests and where each one is, and checking in.
- Payslips, documents, letters and training.
- A manager approves from the phone and sees who on the team is away.
- Notifications when something needs the person, and a sign in with a one-time code.
